Have you ever received news that should shake you, and make you fear the now and the future? Well, that was me today, but surprisingly I was the opposite. I was calm, and it wasn’t a type of calm that resulted from numbness or a calm birth out of trying to deny the reality of the truth in front of me. It was a calm I knew came only from God, that peace that passes all understanding calm. At some point, I wondered if I should maybe go into prayer warrior mode and start binding and losing but I checked my heart and knew that would be a fearful response.

I prayed but it was a prayer grounded in assurance, assurance that God has got me, that God knew before I did, and that He already had a plan in motion. I prayed and thanked God because I knew He was in control, I was not scared about tomorrow I knew I had no reason to be scared. He is God and good and always caused all things to work out for good. Friend, I don’t know where you are in your life and what you are facing but I know God is always in control and His thoughts and plans for you are good. Don’t fret, don’t be shaken, put your trust in Him. Don’t let fear come in, not for a minute, keep your eyes fixed on God, and may His peace guard your heart and mind; and may He deliver you and walk with you.
